7671 Days OldSo today I'm 21... yay!
Am I supposed to feel a whole new maturity about myself? Not sure... I am pretty mature as it is so surely its enough :).
New WheelsAnother quick post...
So on Monday I picked up my new car, a 2007 Suzuki SX4 Sedan.
I don't know what else to say other than its awesome. Took a day to get used to it as i'm too used to driving my old '86 Holden Commodore VL Wagon.
As this is more of a quick post so I don't completely forget what to go more in depth with at a later stage - probably at a quiet time while at work - i'm not going into huge detail and will move straight onto the photo gallery... here.

M4ch1n1m4 Th30ry Pt1The past few days I've been involved with the Melbourne Machinima Festival at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image at Federation Square.
I represented This Spartan Life along with my buddy Chris Burke who was flown in from New York for the event by ACMI.
We presented a live interview with Paul Marino using Halo 3 in campaign mode over Xbox Live. I won't go into who he is and what he does as its a bit much, you can check it out on WikiPedia if you wish.
I got to meet some really nice and interesting people, Frank Dellario from the Ill Clan, a professional Machinima production company; Armando Troisi from BioWare who was the lead cinematic designer for Mass Effect; Burnie Burns the creator/writer of Red vs. Blue; Ezra Fergusen the producer at Rufus Cubed who do World of Warcraft machinima, Rod Mayer the CEO of Beepa known most for their creation of Fraps - a tool used to capture video on a PC.
For info on what each person presented/talked about you can check out ACMI or Kotaku as I don't want to be regurgitating what everyone else has already said.
More to come...

Getting to the KeySo lately i've been putting alot of thought into my 21st Birthday Party, and haven't really made much progress at all.
Who to invite, who not to invite, where to have it, should I be generous with a tab or free drinks, what to do for music/entertainment, should it be themed... all things running across my mind.
Hopefully i'll make up my mind soon before it gets a bit late...

KeelBug.com Goes AUSo this weekend I finally got around to making a .AU domain, only because they're worth the price now. I remember them being $120 a pop, but now you can get one for about $25 for 2 years.
Ofcourse I had to jump through the government hoop of the ABN to get one but that was a simple 15min online process.
As you can see I haven't been writing here for quite some time... 6 months. Guess it shows I had other things on my mind, quite a few things have happened as usual but most wont be plastered here for all to see :).
I'm moving house yet again, this time back to the suburbs to be closer to my friends. Here in St Kilda is nice, close to the city, close to work, cheap cab rides home - but that only happenes every couple of weeks. I find I'm constantly doing a 50Km round trip to my mates places a couple of times a week and figure swapping around would ease the travel a tad. True i'll still be doing about 200Km just to get to work and back every week it'll just be easier.
Moving house brings around the fun times of changing addresses (which i've already done for the most part even though I haven't actually moved yet... more down a bit in the page), organising ADSL and then actually moving all my crap.
So last week I went and got a car... yep... car. Brand-spanking-ex-demo-new.
Got a nice Suzuki SX4 Sedan with some nice factory accessories, should be able to pick it up by Wednesday and when I do ofcourse there will be many pics to show :).
Cost me a bit, and got a nice interest rate on the finance so thats good... insurance was a bastard being the reason I had to change addresses early just to save money on the postcode.
What else is going on you may (or not...) ask?
I'm doing a live This Spartan Life (website | videos)show at the ACMI next Saturday (14th June)... pics and video to come for that too.
Then two weeks later i'll be headin out to Transmission (10pm - 7am Fri 27th June), followed by moving house at 10am on the 28th of June... then the following Monday i'm off to Cairns yet again. So yay busy busy busy!
More soon....

UpdateWell havn't posted here in a while... been a lil busy.
Few things have happened since November (obviously), like moving house, NYE & NYD being the main points... that I halfish remember.
So I finally moved out of Box Hill and into a 2 bedroom apartment with one of my sisters friends in East St Kilda - its pretty sweet.
NYE, was at The Boon in Blackburn. Heaps of pics avail at flickr was a great party.
It was a theme night, 'Tight n Bright'. I drew the line at tight and just went for bright.
Hooked up with this girl... no idea who it was... neither does anyone else there - guess thats just part of the fun.
Passed out on one of the couches outside for a couple of hours, woke up - was home by 7:30am. Had a snooze, woke up again at 11:40am then got ready and went to The Hot BBQ in the city.
Was a massively awesome day, full of sunburns, great DJs and more. Pics avail at the above link posted.
Making an NBA JAM site with a friend, www.powerofthejam.net - hosting all our game stats and replay videos.
Slapped together a small photo gallery site, www.werlpool.net - rips 20 tagged pics from my Flickr account.
Next week finally booking my P test... I know its way overdue but eh oh well not in a rush.
Check out my updated Playlist via the link above.
Probably going to be changing the theme for this blog constantly over the next week or so... nothing better to do at work :).

FlickrThis is a test post from , a fancy photo sharing thing.
This Just In…Ok so quite a bit has happened since my last posting so why not fill in the gap...
Finally bit the bullet and signed up for TPGs 150GB 24mbit plan, should be sweet.
Line should get activated tomorrow so will be speeding when I get home from a mates going away party after work.
Was Kaz's birthday party on Saturday night, my plans for that got cut short fast after I was randomly jumped by 4 arseholes who gave me a bit of a bashing, I ended up with minor head injuries.
They dropped me at the corner of Station St and Whitehorse Road in Box Hill, just outside the Fu Long restarant. About 4 or 5 people walked passed me as I was lying down on the path pissing blood out of my nose and mouth. I was in shock, got out my phone and started hitting numbers. I ended up dialing my mate Stu who was on his way to the area already for the birthday party, 5 mins away. Someone else managed to get an Ambulance for me, not sure if he was working in the restaurant or just someone around at the time but I thank him for his actions. A little bit after, I look up to my friends all around me, I was kind of reliefed and got a good feeling of safety, then the Ambulance rocks up blinding me with their high beams. I get taken to the van and see Kaz freaking out to my left.
I didn't get out of the Hospital until around midnight because it took so long to see a Doctor. Stu accompanied me to the Hospital and my sister came from Prahran to see me, which was a big suprise for me - something I wouldn't have expected. My sister and I aren't the closest of siblings but we are there when it counts.
Stayed at her place for a few days while I healed up and the swelling of my lips went down, no bruising to my face.
Went back to work today, enjoyed getting back into the swing of things. Had to go offsite to Laserlite today. So Stu and I drove out there.... and ended up in a little car accident... fantastic.

Nothing too major, mostly body damage. Couple of dent pulls, a little fibreglass body replacement and a lick of paint - she'll be good as new. The guy in front of us came out worse off. He had some rear damage , exhaust bent in on itself and stuff. Didn't manage to get any pics of the actual incident... damnit.
My Vista machine is running fantasticly. Doesn't crash... except when I load beta gfx drivers or just push it too much. Runs all my games great, and even my new mobile phone works with it.
Decided to shell out for a new phone because my old one was quite damaged... and full of dry blood inside from Saturday.
It's a Nokia N95, fantastic little beast. Took those pics above - 5MP camera. Has an internal GPS too. Have yet to fiddle with all its features because I haven't had my plan activated yet, still on the prepaid crap.
So theres my update, Happy?
No I won't be backfilling any more blogs... just taxes the brain too much :).
Clandestine is.... FUCK its on this Saturday. Damnit almost forgot. It's at LaDiDa this time, should be great.
Anyways, thats all for me. Time to get some sleep for work tomorrow.
Q-Base/Defqon One 2007 tracks be featuring on my MP3 player and Mobile fone this week.

Bored and underworked. So today im at work as per-usual. Pretty quiet, the odd job to do around the place.
Friday i'm picking up my new 28" ViewSonic LCD, and hopefully a graphics card to match. I currently have a 19" LCD and 6600GT 128mb graphics card, and if I just go ahead and plug in a 28" LCD trying to suck out 1920x1200 of my 6600GT it will just fall over.
nto more pressing matters, I swear theres a secret underground dirt trade going un right beneath our noses. Not a day goes by where I don't see someone traffiking soil around either on a truck or trailer. Both at lunch at work and on the way home I see copious ammounts of soil moved daily. I swear its a conspiracy.
Now from the title you might think that I hate my job, quite the opposite. I love it.
I'm told its not every day someone scores a job they WANT to do.
And as I write this, my Sansa batteries are slowly dying :(. I need to remember to bring the USB cable for it in the future. Or just get another one for work.

T-T-T-Time is Running OutSo that other theme kinda sucks for now, looks good but has no meaning for this blog.
I did find a use for it on a new site I made out of pure boredom, www.mjolnir.in, its an episode repository for This Spartan Life. Going to tag and transcript the episodes so segments are easy to locate.
Works going alright, havn't been fired yet... makes me wonder why I was rejected so so many times for a job before. Oh well, their loss.
Been spending my work days on Facebook and Digg lately, look me up on Facebook if you know me and I'm not already on your list.
Uhhmmm.... yeah... going to catch up on Heroes and Chuck now.
Damn work... killing all my time.
